Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026. This explains what cookies The Brandso Group website uses and why.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're used to make sites work, remember preferences, and — for some third-party services — measure usage or serve relevant content. Some of the tools we use also rely on similar technologies such as local storage.

Cookies we use
Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to function and can't be switched off.

PHPSESSIDKeeps track of form submission results (e.g. success/error messages on the Contact and Brandso One pages). Expires when you close your browser.
brandso_cookie_consentRemembers your cookie preference so we don't ask again. Stored for 6 months.
Google Fonts
We load the Poppins and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). To deliver these fonts, Google may process your IP address and standard request data. Google's own Privacy Policy explains how they handle this. This helps our pages load faster and stay visually consistent, and runs on every page load.
Google Maps
Our Contact page can show an embedded Google Map of our Nottingham office. Google Maps sets its own cookies and may use them for analytics and ad personalisation as described in Google's Cookies policy. The map only loads after you choose to view it, so no Google Maps cookies are set until you click "Load map."
Managing your preference

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. To change your choice at any time, clear your browser's site data for brandso.co.uk and reload the page, or use your browser settings to block cookies entirely — though some parts of the site (like font rendering or the embedded map) may not work as intended.
